The Hotel Del Coronado means summer to our family, and it has for a long time.  When my father and his siblings were kids, they spent part of August at the Del with their grandparents, parents, aunt, uncle and cousins.  In much the same way, I spent at least 10 years of summers doing the exact same thing.
