franz, 1932 & 1930
January 7, 2009
Life has gotten in the way of updating sense of face lately, for which I apologize. I had planned on posting this series of photographs while I was out of town last week in a snowy locale, but forgot about the software limitations of the computer I had with me.
At any rate, I would still like to share these images, albeit with a shortened essay, because, well, they are worth sharing.
My grandfather Frank was an avid skiier all his life, as I have already mentioned many times before. He and his friends, in their youths in Austria, were also big fans of sunbathing on the slopes in nothing but underwear.
